Storm Con 2. July 31st to August 2nd
Yes! The dates are set. This is one I'm looking forward to. For full information, visit the Web page that tells you all about it.
If you want to print out flyers for the convention, There is a PDF of the flyer available to download. The idea is you print them out and spread them wherever you go.

Comic Con May 15th to 17th
The Novi Comic Con is a traditional show for us and we will be there again. You can follow this link to their website.
This is also the weekend of the Ancon game convention.
Their website is here. We really like the guys running this show and wish we could do both shows. For gamers this one is a good choice and it is in the Cleveland area.

Spring Home Con, March 27th to 29th.
Spring Home Con, March 27th to 29th.
This will be a three day event at the home of Mark Rosenberger. This is something different than the usual convention. Mark has room for a good number of people to stay at the house for the event. We need for people to RSVP to Mark Rosenberger by March 10th to make this flow well. His phone is 1-248-853-9876. His e-mail is triplane@comcast.com
Participants will need to bring a blanket/sleeping bag and a pillow. Food should be wandering around and will be covered by donations. There is no "cover" charge.
For mapping purposes the address is:
1111 Enfield, Rochester Hills, MI. 48307-5431
Note, if you google or mapquest it, you will end up in my neighbor's driveway. I am officially in the park according to the e-maps.
To get to my house, go to the end of Enfield to the "Road Ends" sign and make a left. Take that dirt road to the house!
Sue and I will definatley be there Saturday and there are good odds of Sunday as well. This is an unusual way of having a game event, but it is not new. This should be fun.

Ohayocon Jan 30th to Feb 1st
Ohayocon is held in Columbus Ohio at the same center as MarCon and Origins.
It is an Anime type con and it will be our first trip to the convention. This is basically a "scouting" mission. We really do not know what to expect, but Anime cons have done well for us in the past. It is a pretty big con, so it should be fun. We will get to see a lot of new faces and "infest" a new market, which I am all for.
If you know more about the con, let us know.
And here we have a link to the Con Website, check it out.

Bashcon XXIV, Feb 20-22, 2009
Yet Another Update: (02/03/2009) For the "It Is Back On" announcement, you can visit DS Flunkies blog for the latest in the BashCon Saga. I'm really hoping this is BashCons last reversal..
UPDATE (02/03/2009): Tim will not have a Table at BashCon after all. You can read Tim's explanation here.
UPDATE (01/20/2009): Tim Kennard will have a table at Bashcon. He will have his now famous buttons and a full selection of DS! Thanks Tim!
This is the link to the website
We have attended several of the BashCons in the past, but, unless something changes we will miss it this year. The con has been good to us, but we need extra prep time this winter for the summer schedule. Their have been some excellent DS games here in the past.

This is what people call a "furry" convention and it is splendid fun to attend. Sue will, as usual, have a table in the dealers room. It also has a good gaming track where our friends from the coast will be helping out with DS games.

MarCon, May 22-24th 2009. Columbus Ohio
MarCon, May 22-24th 2009. Columbus Ohio
This is a Science Fiction convention with a good game track. This one draws a good number of DS players who don't go to other conventions and is well worth a look. We release a batch of new DS cards at this one every year.
The Marcon website is here.
Debbie from the DS Annex co-ordinates the games at MarCon.
You can reach her through this e-mail (dsannex@yahoo.com) As usual we can use all the help we can get!
